First Silver Nanoparticles Successfully Synthesized via Laser Ablation

NanoSTeW has achieved a significant milestone by successfully producing silver nanoparticles using laser ablation in liquids (LAL)—a chemical-free, environmentally friendly method aligned with our sustainability goals. The only additive used is a non-toxic organic stabilizer. SEM imaging confirmed the successful generation of nanoscale particles in liquid dispersion. While larger agglomerates are present, they can be removed during later stages of processing. Initial productivity is promising, and we are now exploring new synthesis setups to improve output and refine size control for future alloy integration.
