Stable Process Parameters Achieved
We reached an important milestone in our PBF-EB/M work with CuCrZr. Using CuCrZr powder supplied by Schmelzmetall and our Freemelt ONE system, we successfully established stable process parameters. The first build, performed with intentionally low energy input, yielded 8 solid samples that provided essential process insights. These results form the foundation for optimizing our electron beam additive manufacturing process and developing parameter sets for nanocomposite copper alloys.
